In June-August 2014 “Inventum Ukraine” company executed works on the modernization of the muffle vacuum resistance furnace on the Pipe Rolling Plant. For the lining the modern high-performance materials based on ceramic fiber had been used - modules LYTX-1260М, mats LYTX-312, textiles LYTX-208A2, lightweight refractory bricks Firebricks JM and mortar Blakite . The distinctive features of the lining materials in comparison with the standard lining (fireclay bricks) are the thermal properties - low thermal conductivity, excellent resistance to thermal shock and durability. For example, Blakite mortar has excellent fire-retardant properties, as well as the ability to hold water. The advantages of the lining materials lead to significant savings and allow to return the investments of the furnace modernization in a short period of time. Works on furnace modernization and its lining, installation of heating tubes, setting of shelves etc. Had been executed qualitatively and according to the schedule. The customer has given appropriate feedback about the accomplished work.
