On the basis of the preliminary specifications of the customer, our company carried out modernization of lining and heat insulation of the furnace of primary reforming - complete replacement of outdate materials exhausted its resource was performed. The main objective of work performance - energy resources saving due to application of modern energy saving technologies and materials.
Specialists of our company have developed the project on modernization of furnace lining and heat insulation according to which it is necessary to replace refractory bricks on side and end walls with modern energy saving heat-insulating boards based on ceramic fiber, apply heat-insulating boards and heat-resistant concrete to reformer crown and bottom lining. It is also necessary to isolate pigtails and gas supply headers from heat with materials basing on synthetic binding. Such design will allow essential energy saving of primary reforming furnace.
Heat-insulating boards on the basis of ceramic fiber is a modern lightweight material, which has low heat conductivity, low heat capacity and resistance to thermal shocks.
Heat-resistant concrete - mix gunned material used for protection of heat-insulating framework, and for improvement of thermophysical properties of lining.
