Modern refractory materials and automation and control systems are one of the most significant factors in the reconstruction of thermal equipment. Their complex replacement provides positive results in furnace heating time, reduces heat losses through the lining, extends the service life of heating elements, which in combination leads to lower energy costs and further repairs. This is exactly the option selected by our customer as part of the hardening furnace reconstruction.
Having designed the project and approved it with the customer, our specialists started to implement it. After dismantling the worn-out chamotte brick lining, we carried out a series of works on changing the metal structure of the furnace. The arch-shaped roof was removed, and a right arch was installed in its place. The other steel structures were cleaned out and prepared for welding refractory fasteners for module blocks based on ceramic fibers. Ceramic fiber materials have excellent thermophysical properties and their application provides economic benefits. After mounting the lining, we installed modern heating elements made of Resistohm wire. The final stage of hardening furnace reconstructionwas its connection to the new control panel.
We have successfully achieved the tasks that our company was faced with.
